Job Responsibilities
We are seeking a Senior IT Consultant (Microsoft 365 Workspace) to oversee the administration, governance, and optimization of the organization’s Microsoft 365 environment, including platforms such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Exchange Online.
This role focuses on ensuring secure collaboration, efficient operations, and strong user adoption across the digital workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and administer Microsoft 365 services, including user access and licensing
- Implement governance, compliance, and security policies
- Monitor system performance, usage, and service health
- Configure and maintain security features (MFA, DLP, Conditional Access)
- Support and optimize collaboration tools and workspace structures
- Automate workflows using PowerShell and Microsoft Power Platform
- Provide Level 2/3 support and troubleshoot complex issues
- Conduct user training and improve platform adoption
- Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders on improvements
Job Requirements
Education and Experience
- Tertiary Education in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Relevant experience may substitute for formal education
- 3–5 years of experience in Microsoft 365 / Office 365 administration
- Experience managing mid-to-large scale M365 environments
- Hands-on experience with Azure AD / Entra ID
- Experience in security and compliance features
- Exposure to automation and scripting (PowerShell preferred)
Certifications (Preferred)
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert
- Microsoft Certified: Teams Administrator Associate
- Microsoft Security / Compliance certifications
- ITIL Foundation (advantageous)
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 ecosystem:
- Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Exchange Online
- Identity and access management (Azure AD / Entra ID)
- Security & compliance (DLP, retention policies, MFA)
- PowerShell scripting
- Microsoft Power Platform (basic to intermediate)
- Understanding of cloud and hybrid environments
