Job Responsibilities

The job holder will be part of both the Business Development and Industry Development teams, supporting efforts to drive sectoral adoption of Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) programmes. This role is suited for individuals who are keen to build experience in stakeholder engagement, programme marketing, and industry outreach.

Be part of the team to:

Programme Marketing & Outreach

  • Support the development and execution of marketing strategies, in collaboration with Industry Development, to drive awareness and adoption of WSHC programmes such as bizSAFE, Total WSH, WSH Advocates.
  • Create and curate marketing content (e.g. write-ups, presentations, basic visuals) tailored to different industry segments

 

Industry Engagement & Business Development

  • Engage companies and stakeholders through outreach efforts such as calls, meetings, site visits, deliver presentations / talks at at events to promote WSHC's key initiatives and programmes.
  • Support relationship management with industry partners, trade associations, and key accounts
  • Identify opportunities to expand programme reach and contribute ideas to improve engagement strategies

 

Programme Promotion & Recognition

  • Support the administration and promotion of recognition platforms (e.g. bizSAFE Awards), including outreach and coordination with participants
  • Assist in organising events, briefings, and engagement sessions to showcase WSH success stories and best practices

 

Cross-functional Coordination & Execution

  • Work closely with internal teams to coordinate events (Tripartite Connect), track progress, and ensure smooth programme delivery
  • Support logistics and operations for events, workshops, and engagement activities

Data & Insights

  • Track and monitor engagement efforts and performance
  • Compile basic reports and insights to support continuous improvement of strategies

Job Requirements

  • A recognised tertiary qualification in any discipline
  • Candidates with up to 3 years of experience in business development, marketing, partnerships, or related fields will have an advantage
  • Strong interest in stakeholder engagement, industry development, or public outreach work
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, with confidence to engage diverse stakeholders
  • Strong writing and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences
  • Resourceful, proactive, and willing to learn in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic data analysis skills (e.g. Excel, dashboards) to track outreach and campaign effectiveness
  • Interest in workplace safety and health, or industry transformation initiatives
